TAKUROMAN will participate in the Exhibition at Nishiyama Museum from Sep-6 to Oct-1, 2023.

TAKUROMAN is participating in the "3rd Contemporary Japanese Artists Exhibition" at the Nishiyama Museum of Art in Machida, Tokyo, from September 6 (Wed) to October 1 (Sun).

This is the first time TAKUROMAN has exhibited a work at the museum.


The Nishiyama Museum of Art boasts the largest collection in Japan of works by Maurice Utrillo at the Ecole de Paris, known for its White Age. The museum also has a large collection of sculptures by Rodin. In addition, the museum has the most impressive collection of world-renowned stones collected from 18 countries, totaling 73 pieces and 43 tons, in Japan.


The museum opened on May 5, 2006 to exhibit art works owned by Mr.Yoshiyuki Nishiyama, a businessman and founder of NAC Corporation.

Hours: 11:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. *entry until 30 minutes before closing

Closed: Mondays and Tuesdays (open on national holidays and substitute holidays)

Admission to the Rodin and Stone Pavilion is free.

Admission is free for children 15 years old and younger when accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Coin lockers are available at the entrance on the 1st floor.

The museum is not barrier-free.

Elevators and escalators are not available.

Photographing of the stones is permitted.

Get off at Tsurukawa Station on the Odakyu Line.

From Tsurukawa Station, take the bus bound for Machida Station via Nozuta Shako and Honmachida, and get off at Ayabe Iriguchi. 2 minutes walk from the bus stop.




This time, I have created a work that is different from the usual, or perhaps not at all. We hope you will take a look.
