TAKUROMAN' started playing erhu. The result of a street live performance in Shinjuku Kabukicho after 100 days of practice

On Thursday, December 12, 2024, beginner erhu player TAKUROMAN held his first street live performance in Shinjuku Kabukicho. With only 100 days of practice, he performed “Yuyake Koyake”, “Furusato”, and other songs familiar to Japanese people.


The students took on their first big stage performance with the strong belief that “there are things that can only be conveyed when you are not very good at it.

Name: Erhu Live Tour “Loneliness in a Crowded Train

Date: Thursday, December 12, 2024 from 20:00

Venue: Shinjuku Kabukicho, in front of “Wagyu Special Zone” in the northwest part of Tokyu Kabukicho Tower premises (reserved through #kabukichostreetlive)

Songs: “Yuyake Koyake” / “Warabigami” / “Furusato” / “Oborozukiyo” / and other famous songs.




🎵 Performance Concept

TAKUROMAN uses the sound of the erhu to express the emotional state of urban workers during the week. The performance was performed with the desire to heal the emotional conflict from Monday's melancholy to the liberation of the weekend and back to Monday again.
