TAKUROMAN took part in the large-scale e-sports event "gespo☆Party 2022" held in Maebashi, Gunma Prefecture, on October 29 (Sat.) and 30 (Sun.), and conducted (1) live painting at the opening act on October 30 and (2) workshops for two days. Here is a report of the two-day activity with photos.
■Live Painting
TAKUROMAN appeared on the main stage for the opening act on the second day of the event, Sunday the 30th, from 10:00. What a surprise this time! In a unique project rarely seen in the past, authentic cosplayers painted their artwork live while playing Taiko Drum Master.
The host of the event, FM Gunma personality Satoshi Naito, invited us to the stage with his lighthearted announcements!
In addition to his impactful voice, Mr. Naito's talk was full of energy, and he asked questions in a way that made it easy for us to talk. I was nervous, but thanks to him, I was able to relax and take on the challenge.
This is what the stage looked like. There were five cosplayers in all. Everyone looked so cool with their uncompromising perfection. I like Puella Magi Madoka Magica, so I was glad to see Tomoe Mami (the blonde one on the left). Now, Tiro Finale!
Now, the performance is about to begin.
The music program is as follows.

Each song is about one to two and a half minutes long, totaling just13 minutes.
Will the work ever be completed!? Let's get started!
I started with a drawing composed of dots to match the taiko drummers.
Next, we added various motifs and gradually changed the picture according to the theme and music.

This time, it was pretty last minute, and I was actually quite impatient. In fact, my hands were shaking.
But somehow, I finished it.

Title「The world without unreasonable losers」
The game has certain rules and opportunities exist for everyone in the same way.
On the other hand, what about the real world? Aren't the rules in favor of someone else? I created this work based on such a theme.
The details will be described at the time of the NFT minting of the work.
I am glad to have completed it this time, by the way.
Once you get swamped in live painting, you may lose unexpected time.
That's the fun of coincidence, though.
As you may have guessed, I had a hard time deciding on the coloring at the end of the painting. Thank you to everyone who kept me on the edge of my seat.

I also introduced the NFT and the fun of the Metaverse Gallery on stage.
■Workshop (Saturday, 29th and Sunday, 30th)
In addition to live painting, I conducted a workshop "Let's know and try NFT!".
I explained to those who were not familiar with NFT what NFT is, what is fun of it, and what I have learned through a year and a half of practical experience. At the same time, I told them how to draw digital art.

I had originally planned to hold the event at a specific time, but since visitors came without interruption and their interests varied from only NFT to only digital painting, we decided to change the schedule and accept visitors at any time.
After holding the workshop this time, I felt that there were many people who wanted to start NFT but did not have a chance or did not know how to do it. It is true that those who are already involved in NFT are familiar with how to handle wallets, can see the faces of the people involved, and can feel the enthusiasm firsthand, but it is quite natural for those who have not yet started to feel that they are interested but do not understand what it is all about. We told such people about the fun of NFT and how to start NFT.
As a result, a total of 11 people created wallets and connected their wallets to OpenSea in two days. Some of them had already uploaded their artworks.
At the same time, many families with children who wanted to experience digital art and adults who were interested in NFT painted their works.

■Summary
I was able to get to know many people at the gespo party and had a very intense and wonderful time. I would like to thank all the visitors, the organizers and people involved, and everyone who supported us online.
