Results Report and Video Announcement
Hello everyone, this is TAKUROMAN.It has been exactly one year since I started playing the erhu — and the other day, I successfully held my second street live performance in Sasazuka, Tokyo. I would like to sincerely thank everyone who came to the venue and those who watched the live stream.

Live Performance Overview
Item | Details |
Date & Time | September 20, 2025 (Sat) 14:00–15:00 |
Venue | Keyaki Square, Keio Crown Street Sasazuka (in front of Keio Sasazuka Station) — Authorized street live by artspot.live |
Program | Japanese folk songs, J-POP, Studio Ghibli music, and more. I also challenged myself with multi-layered solo/ensemble-style performances. |
Audience Reaction | Even with my still unpolished performance, several people stopped to listen, which was very encouraging. I felt the warmth of people watching over a beginner’s effort. Some even told me, “Your sound is beautiful,” which gave me great courage. |
Weather | Luckily, the weather held and there was no severe rain. Although there were brief moments of light rain, the live performance went on as planned, including the live stream. |
A year ago, when I had been playing the erhu for only about 100 days, my hands were shaking, my intonation was unstable, and simply “playing in front of people” was already a huge challenge. This time, however, I was able to focus more on pitch, tempo, and rhythm, and I feel that my own range of expression has gradually expanded.
🎥 Video Announcement
To share the atmosphere and the performance, I have made the recording of the live show available.
On YouTube, you can watch the full, uncut performance including all the live scenes. I believe it conveys both the nervousness I felt on stage and the interactions with the audience.
On X (formerly Twitter), I’ve also shared some highlights of the live performance. These short clips give you a sense of “being there” in the moment.

💬 Looking Ahead
This live performance gave me another step forward — a chance to reflect on my own range of expression and on what it truly means to “perform in front of others.”
From here, I hope to:
Keep practicing with greater focus on intonation, expression, and ensemble connection.
Share more through videos and live streams so that even those who can’t attend in person can enjoy the music.
Take on new challenges such as request performances and collaborations.
Once again, I sincerely thank everyone who has supported me.If you watch the videos, I’d love to hear your thoughts — and also what kind of pieces you’d like me to try playing in the future.
I look forward to seeing you again at the next performance or announcement.
